Virginia Motorcyclist Killed In Deer Collision

Posted on Nov 30, 2009

A 62-year old Virginia motorcyclist, Benjamin B. Miller, was tragically killed on Sunday, November 28, 2009 when his bike collided with a deer just west of Staunton, VA.  According to press reports, Mr. Miller was wearing a helmet but was killed instantly.  This is a tragic event indeed, and highlights the importance of being extremely vigilant for deer - particularly in the hours just before dawn and dusk when they tend to move around more frequently.  Our prayers go out to Mr. Miller's family.
