Virginia Firefighter Killed in Motorcycle Accident

James Karban 27, a James City County firefighter, was killed Sunday (April 11) when his motrocycle struck a guard rail on Route 199.  State Police investigators say that speed may have been factor, though the investigation is continuing, and that Karban was wearing a helmet but was thrown from the bike and apparently died at the scene.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to this man and his family.
