Two Pedestrians Killed in DC in 24 Hours

Two pedestrians were killed within 24 hours on DC sidewalks this week.  These tragic events highlight the fact that children and seniors are especially vulnerable to car / pedestrian accidents, and that we all need to be vigilant when walking in urban environments, especially during the Winter months.  While details of both accidents are a bit sketchy in terms of causation, these are certainly tragic events, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these innocent victims.
