Street Calming Project Upheld By Judge

A New York judge recently threw out a frivolous lawsuit demanding that a much needed bicycle lane in Brooklyn by eliminated.  Citing alleged dangers to pedestrians and traffic, the suit contended that the bike lane was a menace to society.  This office supports more bike lanes as a way of promoting safe interaction between commuting cars and bicycles, and as a way to reduce pollution and downtown traffic congestion.  Score one for the New York cycling community.
