Motorcyclist Killed In Arlington

A motorcyclist headed East bound on Route 50 in Arlington was tragically killed Friday night when a west-bound car turned left into his path.  The accident happened near the intersection of Route 50 and Irving Street, and neither the identity of the victim or the car driver have been released.  Statisically, this type of accident is the number one cause of fatal acidents for motorcyclists, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim's family.  If you would like more information about safe riding and established accident patterns for motorcyclists, you can find it here.
