Automakers Designing Cars That Threaten Safety

Today's Washington Post article on texting while driving is right on.  New technology in cars encourages and facilitates reading and sendng text messages,, and contributes to dangerous driver distraction.  We feel that texting and cell phone use while driving is as dangerous as drunk driving, and studies have proven it.  Driving requires complex thought processing, and further distraction from that degrades driving safety.  If you drive, don't text or talk on your cell phone!
