Arlington Man Charged with DUI Manslaughter After Killing Motorcyclist

Arlington police disclosed yesterday that the driver involved in the accident that killed a motorcyclist in Arlington will be charged with DUI / manslaughter.  According to court documents; 25-year old Jonathan Mendez will be arraigned in Arlington General District Court tomorrow on DUI / manslaughter charges for making a left turn in from of Arlington motorcyclist Gerald Glasper, 42, Friday night.  Anyone with information about the accident is urged to contact Arlington Detective Tamara Celestini at (703) 228-4164.  This is a terrible, senseless tragedy in our community, and our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Glasper's family.
